Sugar free Wholemeal Digestive Biscuits - just 4 simple ingredients

These digestives may not have that professional look, more the home baked look! (which they were) but they do taste mighty delicious and go down perfect with a hot cup of tea.  The digestives can be eaten as a savoury  digestive with cheese & pickle or as a sweet digestive with maybe some chocolate spread, peanut butter or even some jam on.  INGREDIENTS 1 cup wholemeal flour ½ tsp baking powder ¼ tsp bicarbonate of soda ¼ cup of butter 2 tbsp water METHOD Preheat oven to 190'C / 170°fan  and line a baking tray  1. Combine the flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda in a mixing bowl 2. Add the butter and water and mix well to combine to form a ball of dough 3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface, to about 0.5cm thickness. Cut into circles using a cookie cutter. 4. Homemade Banana Ice Cream - the healthiest ice cream your probably ever eat!

2 ingredient healthy, chewy, Date and Oat Slice

INGREDIENTS  18 dried dates (approx) 2-3 tbsp boiling water 1 cup of porridge oats WHAT YOU WILL NEED 1 sheet of parchment paper Rolling pin Food processor METHOD Slice dates in half, place in a small bowl and add the boiling water, leave for approx 15-20 minutes to soak Preheat oven 170 fan/190c Put porridge oats in a food processor, then add the dates along with the water they were soaking in, and blend until you get a stick consistency, if mixture is too dry just add a little water. Turn out the mixture onto one half of the parchment paper, carefully gather all the mixture up and then fold over the half of the paper to cover the mixture, this will stop the mixture sticking to the rolling pin in the next stage. With the rolling pin, roll out your mixture to about 5mm thick and cut into slices, place carefully onto a lined baking tray, and repeat. INGREDIENTS  1 cup of oats 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp ground ginger 3 tbsp fat free natural yogurt 1 egg 6-8 dried dates cut into small chunks Baking dish approx 10cm by 16cm METHOD Pre-heat oven 180 degrees In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix well Now spray your baking dish with frylight or which ever is your preferred method for greasing your dish Pour in your oaty mixture and flatten down carefully Bake in the oven on middle shelf for 30/40 minutes until golden with cracking on the top

Sugar Free Wholemeal Oaty Digestive Biscuits Having a digestive with a cup of tea doesn't lead to acidity  INGREDIENTS 3/4 cup wholemeal flour 1/4 cup plain flour 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 tbsp porridge oats 3 tbsp butter 4 tbsp milk 4 tbsp brown sugar (optional) METHOD Preheat oven to 375 degrees F Line a baking tray with grease proof paper Mix flour, porridge oats and baking powder in a bowl Add butter & sugar (if using) and mix well Now add milk to the mixture and make a thick paste Knead the dough until smooth Now roll out the dough and cut into round shapes of cookies. You can use a cookie cutter to get the perfect shape Place onto baking tray and prick biscuits with a fork Now bake until biscuits start to take on a golden colour Let cool and transfer to an air-tight container

Breakfast in a Jar for 1 Ingredients 2 TBSP oats 1 TBSP mixed seeds 1 TBSP honey 4 dried apricots  100g low-fat greek yogurt 8 Juicy grapes halved or fruit of your choice Method Start by chopping apricots and putting to one side Melt a little butter in a frying pan, add the oats & seeds, stir well, then add the seed and gently brown, careful not to burn Add the honey to the frying pan, stir until all mixed together, then add apricots. Once all mixed together tip onto a cold plate and place to one side Add fruit of your choice to bottom of jar, followed big big spoonful of greek yogurt Finish of by topping with your oat and apricot mix Refrigerate until ready to eat

5 Ingredient Flourless Banana Bread 5 Ingredient Flourless Banana Bread  Prep time 5 minutes Cook time 30 minutes Total time  35 minutes Just 5 ingredients to make this healthy loaf of banana bread that's moist, oaty and naturally sweetened with maple syrup. Ingredients 3 medium bananas 2 cups of old-fashioned rolled oats 2 large eggs 1/4 cup of maple syrup (less if using honey) Teaspoon baking soda Method Preheat oven to 180/160 fan / 350f  Lightly grease 9x5-inch loaf pan or mini loaf pan or a pan of your choice, with non-stick cooking spray and set aside. Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and well combined. Pour mixture into prepared pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean. Let loaves/muffins cool completely . Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

2 Ingredient Sweet Potato Applesauce Muffins - Fat, Sugar & Egg Free! Nutritious & Extremely Tasty

Two Ingredient Sweet Potato Applesauce Muffins INGREDIENTS 2 cups sweet potato applesauce 1 1/2 cups self-raising flour  DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 350/180 degrees/Gas 4/Fan 160 In a large mixing bowl mix/blend together the sweet potato applesauce and the flour. Spoon the mixture into a prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full. Bake for approx 25 minutes or until a toothpick or knife inserted comes out clean. Wholesome, Healthy, Easy, Nutritious, 3 Ingredient Date and Walnut Slice

3 Ingredient Date & Walnut Slice This recipe is easy, quick, takes no time at all and requires no scales. Just 3 healthy ingredients, a food processor and a baking tray.  INGREDIENTS 16 Dates 1 cup of porridge oats 1/4 cup of chopped walnuts 2 tbsp hot water METHOD Preheat the oven to 375F/190C/170 fan In a food processor add the dates and 2 tbsp of hot water and pulse until smooth.  Pulse in oats and walnuts until a sticky dough forms. Tip dough onto a baking tray lined with grease proof paper and shape into a long rectangle/square and press down firmly. Bake for approx 15 minutes. Leave to cool slightly, then slice and carefully transfer to a wire rack to completely cool.

Prune & Walnut Slice Ingredients  16 Prunes 2 Tbsp hot water  1 cup of rolled oats  1/4 cup of chopped walnuts Method Preheat your oven to 170 fan/190c  Using a food processor pulse the prunes and hot water until smooth Pulse in the oats and walnuts until a sticky consistency forms Scoop onto a lined baking tray or non stick tray and shape into a large square/rectangle Place in the oven and bake for approx 15 minutes After removing from the oven leave to cool for 10 minutes then cut into your required size, leaving then to fully cool. 3 Ingredient Healthy Chocolate Brownies This is an easy recipe to follow, completely foolproof. Loaded with fibre and nutrition. The brownies are moist, fudgy and with a rich deep chocolate flavour with a slight bitterness, but makes up for that with the sweet almonds and sweet potato. Time 1hr Makes approx 9 brownies INGREDIENTS -  2 medium sweet potatoes (300g with skin on) 120g Ground Almonds 125g Dark Chocolate (vegan) METHOD -  Cook the sweet potatoes, microwave or in the oven  (if you bake the potato it cooks in its own juices and then is not to wet like boiling or steaming) Once cool enough to handle scoop out the hot potato and mix with chocolate and almonds Place mixture into a square dish approx 8" and then pop into fridge for an or so to set. Cut into squares and enjoy your brownies. Can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days, that's if they last that long!
