3 Ingredient Date & Walnut Slice
This recipe is easy, quick, takes no time at all and requires no scales. Just 3 healthy ingredients, a food processor and a baking tray.
INGREDIENTS
16 Dates
1 cup of porridge oats
1/4 cup of chopped walnuts
2 tbsp hot water
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 375F/190C/170 fan
In a food processor add the dates and 2 tbsp of hot water and pulse until smooth.
Pulse in oats and walnuts until a sticky dough forms.
Tip dough onto a baking tray lined with grease proof paper and shape into a long rectangle/square and press down firmly.
Bake for approx 15 minutes.
Leave to cool slightly, then slice and carefully transfer to a wire rack to completely cool.
