Banana Crumble Slice, easy to make, quick to bake and Simply Scrumptious to eat!

Relatively Healthy Banana Crumble Slice Makes  4 slices INGREDIENTS 58g softened butter 58g  caster sugar  75g self raising flour  33g porridge oats 1 banana 15g sultanas  I used less then half the recommended amount of  sugar. Half white, half wholemeal flour and slices came out absolutely fine, I found the riper the banana the sweeter it was, so there was need for so much sugar. It is personal preference.  METHOD   Preheat the oven to 200c/fan 180c/gas 6 Grease a small baking tin or oven dish  Beat the butter and caster sugar until smooth and creamy looking Stir in the flour and porridge oats to form a crumbly dough Spoon two thirds of the mixture into the base of your dish and flatten down with the back of a spoon Mash the banana in a bowl and spread over the top of the mixture Then cover the banana with the remaining mixture and sprinkle over the sultana's  Level off as befor...

A healthy scrumptious old fashioned Gluten-free, sugar-free, fat-free Bread Pudding just like you had at grandma’s.

Bread Pudding Ingredients 500g gluten free wholemeal bread 500g sultanas 1 1/2 tbsp mixed spice 600ml semi skimmed milk 2 large eggs beaten 1-2 tbsp of dark brown sugar (optional) Method Tear the bread into a large mixing bowl and add the sultanas and mixed spice. Pour  in the milk, then scrunch through your fingers to mix everything well and completely break up the bread. Add the eggs and sugar if using, stir well and set aside for approx 15 minutes. Heat oven to 180/160c fan/gas 4. Butter and line the base of a 20cm non-stick cake tin. Tip pudding  mixture into the tin. Bake for approx 1 1/2 hours until firm and golden, if pudding starts to brown early on cove with foil. Turn out of the tin onto a wire rack and leave to cool, or can be eaten hot from the oven.

5 Ingredient Flourless Banana Bread 5 Ingredient Flourless Banana Bread  Prep time 5 minutes Cook time 30 minutes Total time  35 minutes Just 5 ingredients to make this healthy loaf of banana bread that's moist, oaty and naturally sweetened with maple syrup. Ingredients 3 medium bananas 2 cups of old-fashioned rolled oats 2 large eggs 1/4 cup of maple syrup (less if using honey) Teaspoon baking soda Method Preheat oven to 180/160 fan / 350f  Lightly grease 9x5-inch loaf pan or mini loaf pan or a pan of your choice, with non-stick cooking spray and set aside. Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and well combined. Pour mixture into prepared pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean. Let loaves/muffins cool completely . Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

2 Ingredient Sweet Potato Applesauce Muffins - Fat, Sugar & Egg Free! Nutritious & Extremely Tasty

Two Ingredient Sweet Potato Applesauce Muffins INGREDIENTS 2 cups sweet potato applesauce 1 1/2 cups self-raising flour  DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 350/180 degrees/Gas 4/Fan 160 In a large mixing bowl mix/blend together the sweet potato applesauce and the flour. Spoon the mixture into a prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full. Bake for approx 25 minutes or until a toothpick or knife inserted comes out clean. Slow Cooker Sweet Potato-apple Sauce - Use it in yogurt, mix it with granola, why not make muffins with it!

Slow Cooker Sweet Potato-Apple Sauce This sauce can be used the way that you would use any regular applesauce. You can also stir it into plain yogurt for breakfast, mix with some granola, or you can use it to bake with. Why not try using it to make my 2 ingredient muffins. Note the number of apples and sweet potatoes needed will vary, depending on the size of your slow cooker. Try and use about 2/3 apples and 1/3 sweet potato. INGREDIENTS 6-8 large apples of your choice, peeled, cored and roughly chopped 1-2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and roughly chopped 1/4 cup of water DIRECTIONS Place all the ingredients into your slow cooker Cook on HIGH for about 3 hours or on LOW for about 6-8 hours until well softened Leave to cool slightly and then blend in a food processor to a smooth consistency, unless you prefer a chunkier texture The sauce can be stored in the fridge or frozen  CHECK OUT MY RECIPE FOR APPLESAUCE MUFFINS...

Wholesome, Healthy, Easy, Nutritious, 3 Ingredient Date and Walnut Slice

3 Ingredient Date & Walnut Slice This recipe is easy, quick, takes no time at all and requires no scales. Just 3 healthy ingredients, a food processor and a baking tray.  INGREDIENTS 16 Dates 1 cup of porridge oats 1/4 cup of chopped walnuts 2 tbsp hot water METHOD Preheat the oven to 375F/190C/170 fan In a food processor add the dates and 2 tbsp of hot water and pulse until smooth.  Pulse in oats and walnuts until a sticky dough forms. Tip dough onto a baking tray lined with grease proof paper and shape into a long rectangle/square and press down firmly. Bake for approx 15 minutes. Leave to cool slightly, then slice and carefully transfer to a wire rack to completely cool.

Paul's Mum's Ginger Biscuits with my little added extra Preparation is less than 30 minutes Makes approx 30 ginger biscuits INGREDIENTS 110g/4oz margarine 110g/4oz cater sugar 110g/4oz golden syrup 225g/8oz self raising flour 2 tsp ground ginger 1 tbsp finely chopped crystallised ginger METHOD Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4 and grease a baking tray. Melt the margarine, cater sugar and golden syrup in a pan over a medium heat. Once melted, remove from the heat and cool slightly. Add all the dry ingredients to the pan to make a dough. Once cool enough to handle, with floured hands, roll the dough into 50p-size balls. Place these individual balls onto the greased baking tray with enough room between each biscuit to allow them to spread during cooking. The dough should make approx 30 biscuits. Put the baking tray into the oven for about 10/12 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven, leave to cool slightly...

Carrot Jack Bake Approx 60 calories a slice (makes 5 slices) Photo shows two slices together INGREDIENTS  1 cup of oats 60g peeled & grated carrot 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1 tsp ground ginger 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg (optional) 3 tbsp fat free natural yogurt  1 egg 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)  Baking dish approx 10cm by 16cm 180c for approx 30/40 minutes  METHOD Preheat your oven at 180 degrees In a mixing bowl, combine ALL the ingredients and mix well Now spray a small baking dish with frylight and pour in oaty mixture Bake in the oven for 30/40 minutes until golden with cracking on the top
