These muffins have to be the easiest to make and they only requiring 3 basic ingredients!
Ready to eat within approx 20-25 minutes.
Makes 4 muffins
INGREDIENTS
1 cup of self-raising flour
1 cup of low fat grated cheese
3/4 cup of skimmed milk
½ tsp baking powder (optional)
½ tsp baking powder (optional)
METHOD
Preheat your oven to 160c / 180 fan / 350f
Grease your muffin tray using some Frylight
Sieve your flour into a mixing bowl
Then add your grated cheese, followed by the milk and mix well until all the ingredients are combined
Scoop your mixture into your prepared muffin tray and bake in the oven on the middle shelf for approx 20-25 minutes, checking half way through, if your find your muffins are starting to brown on top quicker than they're baking just cover loosely with some tin foil
Once baked turn out onto a cooling rack
Best eaten while still warm with a lightly spreading of butter or some tasty sandwich pickle/chutney, even a spreading of Marmite goes down a treat on these cheese muffins!
